A Different Android Auto question
Been a long time reader of this forum. I have a 2019 F-150 XLT
I have tried searching here & on the interweb for the following.
I somehow deleted the use of Android Auto from Displaying on the screen [it actually shows up very briefly on the bottom of the Audio Screen, then disappears]
I have done a Master Re-Set, but that didn't work.
Bluetooth works as well as Apple Car Play works when iPhone is Plugged into either of the Two USB Connections.
I have been "Told" that I may have pushed down on Two of the Function Buttons on the Steering at the Same Time which is Blocking the Android Auto.
Anybody have this happen to them?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Trying not to go to dealer, since this is a Company Supplied Vehicle

Well I guess I am the only one this has happen to.
So I made an appointment with a dealership for next week.
I will let you all know that the findings are.

Well i wanted to circle back to this
I went to the Ford Dealer last week, truck was there the better part of the day.
For them to tell me they "could not reproduce the drivers compliant" i think when they checked for the latest version of Sync 3.4 it may have triggered something for Android Auto to Connect.
I tried Several Different Cables / Cords as well as a co-workers Android Phone and Cable and it didn't work prior going to the Dealer.
But never the less, it's working now and it didn't cost anything, still under warranty

Make sure you have Android Auto app downloaded from the Google Play Store and installed on your phone. Otherwise plugging in your Android phone does nothing but charge it. (Make sure to connect it via Bluetooth as well.)
