Default Deployable running boards

Is it possible to leave the deployable running boards in the out position? There are settings in the productive screen that seem to indicate so, but once you start driving the running boards retract. Any way around this?

On my 2015 I can control the running boards from the screen directly in front of the steering wheel , thinking in advance settings

That is what I meant by the productivity screen.

All the settings have been tried and none of them stick for staying deployed while driving.

I'll have to ask on that thread.

They will still retract when you drive away. OP doesn’t want them to retract when they drive.

they retract after 5 or 10 mph and do so because they hang lower than the typical side bars

I have a buddy who has a Platinum as well, but no computer. I am asking for him.

He is concerned about the motor wearing out. And after having mine for a couple days I can understand his concern. They could deploy 10 times while cleaning your truck for instance. I guess the trick would be to leave one door on each side open until your done.

I asked on the Forscan thread and the answer was "no". So my friend is out of luck.
