I would go PDR; if it's not perfect, you can cover it with an aeroskin.

Haha! That's what I was thinking! He says the paint is cracked, so it definitely needs paint even if the pdr guys can get it out.

Oops! I overlooked that when I read the OP. Yeah if there are cracks in the paint pdr won't be an option....

If there's any problem with paint after the dent is repaired, you could put on a bug guard like mine. You might want to put one on anyway. I was reluctant about a bug shield but after getting a very small chip in my first thousand miles, I opted for this one. It sort of matches the plastic strip below the grille. I think you can get them smooth and/or chrome.

Yeah, wish I had one of those...

Got a large rock on the front of the hood in the first week, the rock put in 3 deep chips right down to metal.
