Default Dash light issue

Hello guys,

Does anyone else notice the dash lights change from bright to dim randomly? I am starting to think its actually an issue. Doesn't matter what time of day, the lights will constantly be flickering every few minutes. If anyone else has experienced this and knows how to fix it that would be great.?

Thanks

Are your headlights on Auto and are you perhaps in and out of sunny areas or overpasses that could be causing your headlights to be coming on and off? Or do you have something partially covering the light sensor (middle front of dash I believe) that could be shading it enough to cause it to trigger??

my lights are always set on auto. But nothing is covering the sensor and it seems to happen when its dark out, sunny out, in between (dorsnt really matter).

Not sure what could be wrong

Try taking them off "auto" and use manual on / off and see if it happens. If not then I'd suspect something related to the sensors or module that detect the light and turn then headlights on and off

I'm not staying don't use it in auto on a normal basis but just see if taking it out of auto eliminates the issue. If so it would potentially point to a flaky sensor that needs looking into

Check on the center stack screen /touch screen if you have Sync 3 go to settings than go to Display you will see
Brightness
Mode
Auto Dim
Move auto dim to off
This may help for the brightness changing on center screen
