Default That darn "M" Button

I've searched and not found much on the subject.

Does anyone have a 15+ that has something OTHER than the M button on the right-side of the wheel? Looking to swap out with something else stock if possible.

I kick myself every time I hit that thing. With so many sources, it's literally the worst design Ford could come up with (just move to the next preset. FM1 > FM2 > FM3 > AM1 > AM2 > etc.)

I'm half tempted to find a way to disable it, but something is telling me to chill my chest here.

I don't like this button either. I wish that the presets were seamless and would flow right into each other. I also wish that you could have 94.5FM on preset 1 and Serius/XM ch. 31 on preset 2.

I just wish it would stay in the mode I selected on the radio.

For example, if I'm browsing through my Sirius 1 2 and 3, when I click it again instead of going back to Sirius 1, I go into Bluetooth mode. I want to stay on Sirius not go to bluetooth!

BMW's presets are very similar to how you are describing. They would allow any media source to be set to a preset. For example you could have 95.5 on preset 1, Sirius station 25 on preset 2, Aux imput on preset 3, etc.

My wife's GLK350 does this as well. Maybe it's a German thing...

The steering wheel removes easily. I'm guessing you could unplug or cut the wire that controls the "M" button.

Chevy has had multiple bands on the same preset row for a longggg time. I swear I remember early 00's pickups that had X.X FM on 1, some AM on 2, XM on 3......etc...

Since we're on the subject...Radio controls should be on the LEFT side of the steering wheel.
