Default Damage to wheels

Ok so I have a 16 F150 Plat...I put winter tires on for the first time this year which I am glad I did. I had them to the dealer a few weeks ago to switch back to the normal tires. I cleaned up my vehicle this weekend since it was finally nice weather and really cleaned the wheels. I found that from what I guess, when they changed my tire on the passenger front they damaged the wheel either when taking it off or when on the machine to change the tire. I have two nice dents in my wheel that there is no way I could have gotten them by driving. Has this happened to anyone and if so will the dealer replace the wheel? I am going in today to speak to them. And can this machine cause such damage?? I think it can because many years ago I had the same thing happen to an old car I had.

Thanks

I expect the dealer will try to repair the wheel first, but then replace if it's not fixable. They should make you right. I've had dealers let wheels fall on their face before. They repaired them to like new condition, no questions asked.

Maybe the photo, or my monitor, but that looks more like clearcoat going to crap, no machine going to do that. Are those OEM wheels?

Ya, I see the marks on the spokes, something could have been dropped on them or something, I can't see the machine doing that, and I could be wrong.
I'm looking at the top of the photo near the rim, or is that just me? You sure would think the factory clearcoat would last longer than that, if I'm seeing correctly. I think that should be brought up as well.

Something sure as heck caused those gouges/nicks and most likely it was when the tires were changed IMO. It also looks recent so I'd be having a discussion with whomever changed your tires. Also looks like there are areas where the clear coat is starting to fail........... I have the same type of wheels on my 2017 and wish I didn't! Just don't like the way they are finished and have doubts they will stand up over time.

yes I agree, I just dropped it off at the dealer and the shop manager will be taking a look at it, however they told me that their equipment does not touch that area....their first attempt at getting out of it. I only drive this thing about 7 miles a day and only park in parking lots....this may turn in to a big issue with them, only place it could have happened. I am thinking that the cloudiness you see on the wheel is only dirt that needs scrubbed...with all the crap on the roads this winder I will need a buffer to clean them.
