I’ve worked as a garage tech for years and a sales guy for more and one thing I know is when that tire comes off, that rims going to rest on the closest thing that can handle it. Hoist column, wall, another truck...etc. I’ve seen it all.

hopefully the shop your at only lets them bounce a bit when the tires fall off. Other than that it’s probably a bit garage floor scuff.

That's scary....cause the only place this could've happened is at the garage when they changed the tires.

I hope it can be fixed or I will fight for a replacement

so I picked up my truck today....as you can see on the pics posted the damage that was done. They tried to fix it by having someone buff the wheel spoke with the damage until you could not see the scratched. In the meantime, they took all the clear coat off of the spoke and the look is totally dull from the other spokes. Now I am demanding a replacement. Any thoughts on that???

Careful on the replacement. Firestone ruined a rim on my 14 when it was new. They got a new one..I got home and noticed the center cap was crooked..then I see paint that had runs.. dumps online sell refurbished rims, after several phone calls they bought me a new Ford rim. I go to pick it up, they gave me the rim and refused to mount it..said they didn't have right gear for nice rims

Exactly, you have to be careful about where they get these and all parts...nothing to keep them from getting one at a junk yard as well....how would you know??
