Four weeks ago I purchased a Demo 2016 and I found the update to 2.3 on the web site and did the upgrade first thing. Later I installed the Car Play hub.

I am guessing the hub has nothing to do with the update being available or not. I just put in my VIN and it had the update right there to download ???? I did go get it however they did not send it to me or notify me of it. ??

Agree; the usb hub you have has nothing to do with what updates you get.

Thanks, finally got an email back from Ford saying they are aware of the issue downloading the files and are working to resolve it.

tried dowloadind v2.3 from ford website last night but couldnt has site is having issues, then found v3.0 on other site, downloaded and installed it, everything seems fine, havent really noticed much different, a few small things, it says AA and Carplay are crisper and quicker, time will tell

I installed 3.0 when it first was posted on other site, works great, no issues at all. I noticed the other day 2.3 update showed as available on the Owner.ford website.
My question is: If I enable automatic updates on my truck, will it try to install 2.3 on top of my 3.0 & downgrade me?

I have just done a sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade Version 2.2 and I have this one problem
"Voice Recognition not ready"
any ideas?
Car play is brilliant and siri works through the steering button
