I went on a 70 mile trip today, using Google Maps. I have to say that it is easier to enter destinations because it appears that Google understands voice commands a little better than Sync. So, is not so bad after all.
Still don't like the fact that you have to any steps to go to the climate or radio functions. Like they say, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Installed during lunch and all seems ok so far. All my settings persisted and Apple CarPlay works normally. No obvious functionality change, menu system is a bit different.

Out of curiosity: did you update from v2.0 or v2.2?
Things I've noticed:
1) GT blue features shraper text and a new font.
2) clipping / resolution over lay issues have been corrected in the day mode for GT blue on the home screen.
3) the animation time has been drastically reduced which makes the GUI feel much more snappy over Sync 3 V2.2.
4) multiple icons have changed.
5) 'Display Off' button is now more accessible within the display menu.
6) You lose the ability to select Night mode at full brightness / lose the ability to run black Sync 3 themes during the day because auto dim has new conditional parameters.
7) I think iPhones no longer index every time you connect them over bluetooth but I need to test it.
8) This... which I triggered by accident when I broke GT Blue with ForScan and haven't been able to figure out how (I believe it can be displayed as long as Sync is set up for HEV & Ford Classic theme):

I originally updated to v2.2 (non-nav) using the leaked version. Then when the public-release came out, I updated again to that build. I incorrectly did the full update instead of just installing the single file that changed. Well as a result I now do not have Gracenote (missing version number). Is there any fix to get Gracenote back on my system?
For anyone interested, I updated to v3.0 and got Gracenote back.
Could you guys please advise. This is the first time I met with TMC. In Russia, TMC is very poor, so I can't get any official information.
1. How long does it take to get TMC info from car/unit starts?
2. If the street is free of traffic, should it be marked as green or something similar, or only streets with heavy traffic of jams should be marked on the map?
Maybe you can post a map with all possible information.
Google maps have all possible marks, starting from green - free to go street and dark red, traffics is blocked.
