I remember reading the usb3.0 is a no go I used a 2.0 and had no issues it read it instantly and total time was about 10 minutes start to finish. I would say try the usb2 with all files unzipped in it.. make sure its formatted in fat32 as that's what I did... so I know it works but I am non nav

 

Just did an upgrade to 3.0 and used a USB 3.0 256 gig key. Update start almost instantly.

 

Same here. Might have been 5-10 seconds to start download.

The reader in the truck is 2.0 so does take an extra moment to read. I've read in some instances up to 10 minutes. That surprises me.

 

Just did an update to 3.0.... very disappointing. Nothing much changed. Updated SM logo, ford logo, and heating steering wheel has a quick shortcut.... that is all i can notice. Don't kill yourself to update...

 

Android Auto is more responsive and snappier with 3.0.

 

You're crazy man. There are tons of improvements. Gracenote works flawlessly, the interface has new icons, the nav voice is more fluid and human-like, AA is way snappier on it, the obstacle warning screen no longer flashes when changing out of reverse, etc.

Lots of improvements.

 

Like TexasFording said the Nav voice alone big improvement, plus Gracenote, icons,etc. Get out in the truck and discover the improvements.

 

2.2 didn't have the ability to turn off the display, did it? Maybe I just didn't pay attention.

thought so. that's another perk of the upgrade. makes night driving better.
