I tried to update my sync 3 v1.1 to v2.2 and had some trouble then got it to work but it updated to v3.0 and doesnt have android auto, the clock switches back an hour sometimes and keeps asking to connect to wi-fi to finish updates. Anyone have a solution to go to v2.2 from 3.0? or a link to a v2.2 download that works? Thanks

Any sign of v3.0 with nav for North America? I see the non-nav link posted, but not the nav.
Thank you.
Thank you.

With regards to the heated steering wheel icon, what do you mean?
Did you add it there with ForScan? or for that matter, have you ever used ForScan?
Do you mean the Heated steering wheel icon is in the black title bar? because that isn't new.
Or is it the user-select ON / OFF button that just appeared?
Photo?

It looks strange with one icon there. Overall, its snappier than 2.2. It does keep asking me to update via WiFi each startup.
Can I go from 3.0 to 2.2?

I've never used FORscan before. I updated from 2.0 to 2.2 and yesterday to 3.0. Here's a screen shot of new home screen on my Platinum.

You can forscan it out if you dont like it. You can disable wifi checks in settings and the warning will go away.
You cant downgrade yourself, the dealer needs to wipe the apim and reload it with OASIS and a VCM 2

In the forscan thread Livnitup posted a link to the 3.0 nav.
Downloaded it and expanded it, but can't copy to thumb drive because some data in autoinstall.lst can't be read or written. This is on a mac, which was the same process I used to update to 2.2 with no problems.
Bad download maybe or mac issue?
In the expanded folder there is a file called DONTINDX.MSA. That file did not exist in the 2.2 update. Should it be included on the thumb drive should I end up being able to copy the files over?
Going to try to re-download from the link again.

In versions prior to 3 you could not have the icon for the wheel by itself, you could only have it along with other icons (whether it was heater or cooled seat icons or both).
