Default Display will flash a 0 volume level

Looking for some help and information.

I was finally able to get my sync upgraded to 2.2 It would not upgrade so I decided to leave my usb stick in (as others here have) and after about a week and many failures one day I got the message upgrade complete.

Things seem to work except I have noticed that every time I start my truck and I turn the volume up the display will flash a 0 volume level for a second and then jump to the current volume level. The display will then work fine for the remainder of the trip.

My question is, is that normal behavior? It did not do this on version 1.0. Is it a bug and everyone's does it? Or is it specific to my truck? If so should I do a master reset? Or is there anything else I can do?

Any help will be appreciated, Many thanks

It is the new normal. After about a thousand times you won't even notice it anymore.

Anyone know of a modified Android Auto APK which removes the speed limit for taps in motion? AA only allows 6 taps while scrolling before giving the warning message. Only thing I can find is for the Xposed framework which won't work with my Pixel XL.

Thats odd, I never saw that on my systems. They all flow smooth.

You might want to change 7d0-01-01 first bit from A to 2.

Would it be possible for you to explain this "You might want to change 7d0-01-01 first bit from A to 2" I am not sure what you are referring too.

Many Thanks

Disable and re-enable the DACMC. 7d-01-01: 2A2A (disabled), AA2A, enabled.

Make sure you dont have a DTC showing "module configuration incompatible". That will usually cause it.

Hey guys, my truck came with Sync 3 v2.0 and I want to upgrade to 2.2. Ford's website says that there is no update available for me and that I already have v2.2. Also, wifi update in the truck shows no update available. Is my only option to upgrade via USB or the dealer? Are there any known issues with upgrading via USB from 2.0 to 2.2 17011? Thanks!
