waze auto beta for sync 3 if anyone wants to try it out!

Ok I tried another cable & also tried each usb port on the truck & it still will not show up on the sync 3 screen....Whenever I go to connect apps tab on sync it says no apps on phone?! I have many many apps so I dont know what is going wrong....What do I need to do to get it to work Ive enabled android auto in sync3 and also got the app on my phone.....

 

Only a few apps will appear on Sync3. On my phone, only Google Maps does. On my wife's phone, she gets Google Maps and Pandora. I hear a beta version of Audible will, but not the release version.

We definitely have more apps than that, but they are not compatible with Android Auto.

 

Rocket Audio just released their Sync3 compatible app. Its really good.

 

So, I upgraded through the Owner's site and everything is working fine. Only thing that didn't work out was that, according the the instructions, the system was supposed to write a file to the thumb drive that I was supposed to download to Ford so that they know the proper revision.

I don't see the file on the thumb drive. Anyone else seen that?

 

Since the update everything is working great except... when texts come in and I click to play them nothing happens... it will not read them...

 

So I've checked several times and there is no update available for my 16 with version 1.0 both via Wi-Fi and website. Is it because I'm in Canada?

Do you have to back load if not rooted? Do you have any instructions. On samsung s8+.

Maybe called side loading instead of backloading.

 

Just updated my system to v2.2 and installed the USB to allow Carplay. Took around 15-20 minutes to complete it all. I'm pretty happy so far.
