Forgive my ignorance but does this mean I can go to the dealer and get my v1.1 nav unit upgraded to 2.2, get the usb hub and have carplay or is it still not completely out?
It appears that it is only available at a dealer for navigation equipped 2016 Lincoln's... at the moment.
Downloaded last night and started the install on my way to work.
1. Took about 20 minutes to install, I was driving to work.
2. Truck needs to be turned off at the end of the install, radio off then turned back on to fully complete the install. The reboot took less than 2 minutes.
Attached screen shot. Can confirm install went smoothly but after shoveling driveway this morning i didn't have time to test the AA functionality. I will be driving at lunch and can provide feedback right after lunch on functionality.

Yea, I grabbed a VIN for a 1.0 system and the update is not available on the owner site for download. Says the unit as 1.0 and is up to date, like the ford owner site for my truck.

Thanks Jason!
I see an issue with this and sent you a PM about it.
As far all the people sending me PMs I have enough testers for now. Testers should not be giving out the update either. It is just that right now...a testing phase. Those that are testing are doing so at their own risk. I feel comfortable enough to send it out as for real world testing to those that have received it thus far. Once it is or is not confirmed as all good then can go bigger with it. Be patient.
I don't even see on the ford owner site where to check for updates...
I have a nav w/ 2.0, so should be able to possible get the 2.2 update.
Login to the ford owner site, then at the top there's a tab, "Sync & Vehicle Features" Click on that, and a menu will appear. In the menu there's "Check for software updates". Select that menu item and you will be taken to the version page.
My apologies if I've missed something, but I've scanned this entire thread looking for an answer to my question, and didn't see it.
I have a 2016 XLT, purchased a couple weeks ago (not sure on build date), but it has the 2.0 version.
I'm thinking about ordering HC3Z-19A387-B, to enable CarPlay functionality, but I'm curious to know if that part number has one USB port with a CF reader, or 2 USB ports, like I do now?
I saw a photo of the other part number, with the white backlight, and it only appeared to have one USB port, so I'm wondering if I lose one of my USB ports by making the switch.
If anyone has the HC3Z-19A387-B part, can you post a photo? Or if I missed it somewhere else in this thread, can you point me in the right direction?

It has two ports like you do now. Ford did away with the CF card reader on Sync3. The part looks the same, there are some pictures in the thread. I could post a picture of my old hub and you wouldn't know the difference. There's a different card on the inside.
