The home screen is the same when running Android Auto, no maps displayed when in Sync mode.

I get the same message and the system asked me to make sure my emergency brake is off. It also says if the e-brake light stays on after e- brake release, then I should have the braking system checked.

I think it`s an app glitch and I also can`t clear it from my messages.

I`ll give it a try and thanks for that info.

Once it's time for actual navigation though, it's very poor.

On my iphone6 it's also a little bit slow/sluggish to respond. It's sad that the 'home screen' of apple carplay is just a screen with icons. The main screen of andriod auto is much nicer, has useful information, and can actually be useful.
Just curious as I don't have issue with iPhone's nav.......What is better about the android version?

If I look up an address and then ask Siri to take me there.....I get turn by turn directions til I get there with zoomed street view and once I'm at my destination.....Siri says "you have arrived".

If I back out of the view to look at the road map, I also get traffic (accurately I might add) which has saved me numerous times and I also get alternate routes if I need it too.

Another poster said the way to eliminate this message is to run the vehicle report with the e-brake off and this should allow us to delete this brake fault message.

Have a great day.

with no other files on the drive. You will need to install part 1, then remove the files and add the second set of files and install part 2.
For the record, I updated mine using all files on one thumb drive with not issues. Have been using for well over a month problem free.

Good luck.
