In answering your question understand I have nav but it should work the same. When I first tried the download nothing happened on the screen. Went back and looked at what was on my memory stick and for some reason the needed files were inside another folder. When I redid the memory stick without the extra folder it worked like a champ and said downloading new software almost immediately.
I just looked at my USB drive and found the same problem. I'll try it again.
On another note, I upgraded my Ford USB port to the new part number, and when I started my truck I got the message "This USB device is unsupported", although it did recognize my USB drive when I inserted it, so hopefully it will still work.

And FYI I went to the dealer out of curiosity about if they had heard anything from Ford when the update would be released to the huddling masses, of which, it sounds like you are one.

I upgraded my 2016 platinum this AM and went smooth as silk. I have android so I don't need to upgrade the USB hub. Huge thumbs up for providing the files and taking the risk. Now if I can get my power tow mirrors with cameras to replace the little ones I'll be 100%.

No, I'm not the same poster. I stopped by my dealer in southern Georgia after reading that post and asked them if what was posted was correct. The salesman said they had heard the same thing (apparently through a channel at Ford) and made the statement "until it is a done deal, I'd still consider it a rumor".
