Checked on Ford Navigation and put in 2017 F150. This is the result: " Thank you for your interest in a navigation update for your SYNC 3 system. Please contact your dealer to purchase an update today."

My point I was making is that now we are being told to contact the dealer for the update. Previously we were told that no updates were available.

 

strange i put in a 2016 and 2017 f150 and it said "Our records indicate you have the most recent map update for your vehicle. Please check back soon for a map update product."

I was able to verify through my dealer the update is available for both 2016 and 2017 for trucks equipped with Sync 3 AND Navigation. To the best of my information, it will not install navigation if you don't already have it.

 

When I checked my 2018 F-150 Platinum FX4 for Sync 3 update I was told my system has the latest update.

 

I would like to verify with HERE that this map is current.

 

This is not a Sync update, it is for Navigation only. Check it out yourself. Latest Navigation version is 1.16 1. If you have that or newer, then you have the newest maps available. This update became available within the last 10 days.
