Cotus question
I got my VIN a couple of days ago, and immediatly went on Cotus to take a look.
Cotus shows my order date: 05/10 but I was at the dealer buying the truck on 05/02.
Does that mean my dealer waited one week to place the order, or it is the date Ford took the order from the system to prepare for the build?

I ordered my truck (at the dealer place) on 04/14. So my dealer ordered my truck the day after that. So I think yours was a bit lazy...

I asked him to follow up on my order, and he didn't. I asked if there was a website to follow the progression of my built, and they told me, that doesn't exit, only us receive emails once in a while.
It's by reading on this forum that I learned that Cotus existed.!!
He told me, 'see ya in 6-8 weelks' LOL

I called him a week later, the 10th to see if he had my VIN, he said no, and that same day, Cotus shows the order date as the 10th.
That means I lost one week...
Not a good way to start a relation!!

I didn't get that 'DORA'. Dealers in Canada are secret. We can not know those information, no invoice price, nothing.

My dealer gave me the VIN a few days after ordering along with the build date. That said, I don't know about some Cotus. Been pumping my VIN into Cotus for 4 weeks now (ordered 04/13) and it always says no match. ETIS works, and I just got access to my window sticker this week. Says blend date May 23. Coincidentally same date the dealer gave me.
