yes, Sentry makes one which I bought but I'm having difficulty with proper install without damaging wires, etc below by drilling. Should I get a good install solution figured out, I'll post it.

Trying to decide which one I want to buy. Leaning toward Tuffy since I use the coin tray for a lot of stuff.

I have one, and would recommend it.

I finally ended up getting the console vault with the 4 digit combo lock. I *really* like it. Thing is wrapped up like its a glass slipper in shipping. Materials are stout. Install was easy (getting that last nut on was interesting lol). The only slight issue I have is I have to push my console lid a bit to get it to latch. I really like this thing though.

Thanks for all the info, folks.

Those are nice... but I use my Console for far too many other things, yet I keep nothing in there that absolutely requires anything higher then the lock-ability function that is already included by Ford.

As far as my CCW goes... I have a good old fashion Grizzly Cable Safe, that I have had for many years, and it has moved with me from one car, to the next installed under my seat, where I put my firearm when I encounter those occasions where I am required by law not to keep it with me (IE: Baseball Games). I know it works, because on 2 occasions, a thief has attempted to remove/open it without success.

What I would like instead, is a lockable lid for the Storage Compartment under the Back Seat.

Cops can make you open it with a key but he can't force you to remember a code. lol

They might have to get a search warrant regardless. It used to be that way, but not sure what the current position is.

TE] Locked is locked. Key vs combo won’t matter to police. Warrants are easy to get if they think they need one. Police can force it open, but it anything in it may be thrown out in court if arrested. As with most legal stuff, depends on details.
