Default Console Safe.

Just installed my Tuffy console safe! $160 on Amazon and super easy to install. So glad i got this. Now if i want to leave my firearm or valuables, in my truck, i know it will be secure.

It would take a motivated crook to rip that out in two minutes. Especially with the alarm going off.

The VAST majority of car break-ins are smash-and-grabs. The console vault eliminates 100% of those. If you are traveling with a firearm, cash, or valuables, the vault is a very good idea. It may also require a search warrant to be opened...

As someone else said, when vehicles get broken into, 99% of the time it's very quick. It's very rare that the perp spends more than a couple minutes in a vehicle. The safe is a great idea, and will work well IMO!

The Tuffy is my next mod, especially since I saw how flimsy and cheap the OEM lock is for the console. With this you'd have to essentially break two locks. I'm not big on keeping my ccw in my truck, but there are times when you go places that don't allow it.

Are there any of these that fit the three section front seat, where the console tips up? They all seem to be designed for the fixed center console models.
