It is the soap within the shaving cream that does the work, they all should perform similar.

This reminds me of my siblings, before a road trip they were tasked with detailing the inside of my dads truck. They baby wiped everything (including the windshield)... if you want to know what makes the windshield fog up more than anything you've ever seen? Do that. lol

Invisible Glass - Best window cleaning solution I have ever come across.... Use it on all the cars and windows on house...
