Got a card today saying my 2018 was part of a class action concerning brakes.

I always sign up for em, there’s random ones I’ll get $500 checks for, which is always a nice surprise. Most will tell you how much you’re expected to get — there’s a website called SueThem or something like that where you can choose different class action suits to sign up for. They’re always long and drawn out, but having to handle zero of it and getting a check for a few hundred once it’s over ain’t bad at all.

99% of the time, they do nothing but enrich some shady lawfirms and cause the prices of goods to increase. Very rarely do they address any significant problem or produce any meaningful payments to the individuals in the class.

Although I must add that I previously owned a vw Jetta tdi and got about 10k out of that lol. Great car too.
