I'm confused as well...PTM is Painted To Match??, thought it meant Paint To Match-->

I understand purchasing already Painted.

I guess it can stand for whatever someone wants it to stand for lol. But if you want the painted mirrors then the eBay set is the best place to get them and I haven't had one issue with my set. My brother ordered an ingot silver set and they are. A perfect match as well.

What have you paid to have stock textured black caps painted locally?

part numbers are for smooth primed ready to paint mirror caps. aersol touch up paint (tri coat ruby red) from touch up direct.


caps about $40 ea.


aersol: base, tinted, and clear coat spray cans about $60.


I also used the paint on the tailgate damper pivot that was black.


3 coats each.


gotta do polishing compound next.


takes 3-5 days for clear coat to cure before you can touch/work it
