Default Chip in paint

So I am picking up a weight set from my brother in law to give to a friend and he opens my door with a 5lb weight in his hand. I later see he ended up making a small chip in my paint. Anyone have any good advice to repairing the chip. I am so mad because I have kept my body perfect until now and it's small but annoys the hell out of me.

Sit down, close your eyes, breath deeply and relax. Unfortunately this isn't the last chip you are going to get. Consider this, there isn't a dent where some mindless fool slammed their door into yours. Otherwise just go to a body shop and ask them to fix it.

You can buy a lot of touch up paint for what a body shop is going to charge
you. Get the color code off your truck and give it a try. If your not satisfied
you can still go to the body shop.

I'm betting it'll hardly be noticeable.

I've looked up a bunch of how to videos and I think I may give it a try. Would I get the paint from ford or do you think I could go to a local auto parts store like autozone

I'd just call the one that was closest and go from there. I've used touch up on lots of
little chips and you'd have a hard time seeing it unless you knew it was there.

My truck got dominated by a car wash and I'm in the same boat as you. The genuine touch up paint is less than $20 straight from your local dealer.
