funny, you mention the aluminum. we had a hail storm last night (still monsoon season) that yielded quarter size hail. I also have 2015 plat expedition (with steel body). Neither one has one ding in it from the hail.

After 2 weeks of ownership, I have had nothing go wrong. Is it possible the majority of problems are from one truck plant? Mine was built at Dearborn and it would be interesting to see which truck from which plant has the most problems.

I don't think anyone on here has even received a KC build yet, so it's not a this plant vs that plant thing. It's a byproduct of building one of the most popular vehicles on the road in a single place, as quickly as possible.
