Don't get the wrong idea here. I'm not pissed about it, just disappointed. I've already emailed my salesman and he will take good care of me. I just cannot understand how something this obvious was missed.

2. Maybe your truck has had some body work already on that quarter panel and the body shop neglected to replace the push pins. Tons of vehicles are damaged in transit and are repainted unbeknownst to buyers.

3. If you've only had your truck for a week, how is it so filthy already?
1. Yes, those are corsa tips. I stole the idea from another member.
2. I've considered that, but that's even worse, imo.
3. We've had a week long monsoon here in southeast texas. It has been raining daily since I picked it up. The reason its dirty is because I use my truck for work. It doesn't sit in the driveway much.

See?

I wasn't saying it was a better alternative. Check your paint match.

What the Hell is Wrong with some of you Ford Fanboys???? I Swear you could buy a new Truck and the wheels fall off on the way Home and you would defend Ford.....No wonder they Don't give a chit about Quality control...

Its not even the price, no vehicle regardless if it is a $15k econo box or a high end truck should have stuff like missing parts, poorly aligned door panels, or any other obvious issues anymore. Obviously every maker is going to have a few hiccups here and there, but for such a obviously important launch of a totally new truck Ford seems to have had far more glitches than are acceptable.

The operative word is "acceptable". I don't have a definition of what this entails, do you? I just know the number isn't ever going to be "Zero".

The other keyword here is "seems". Again - a forum is not a good metric, IMHO.

Fanboyism has nothing to do with it, I think some of your expectations are out of line...entitlement probably. Nothing is perfect, especially at launch, and your expectation for it to be is absurd. At launch you are the test batch as they work out issues. Same with anything else, cell phones, any software launch, etc. The important thing is that Ford is taking care of the issues and from what Ive read on here and seen from most dealerships, Brittany and Ford Service in general are taking care of everyone.

The sample on a forum is incredibly skewed, if you have an issue everyone runs to a forum. If you are having a great experience and no issues, some people will post about it, many many more will not.

Some of the gripes are stupid too, I cant control AC from MFT so Ford sucks...blah.
