Check for missing rivets!
Air intake popped off (loose clamp).
Driver side & passenger side door re-aligned.
Driver leather seat cover replaced.
Rear leather seat cover + cushion replaced.
None of these are major issues though, but they definitely do not make a great first impression. But if these are the only things that are wrong with my truck and it goes 10 years w/o another issue I'll be very happy.
Very true - the people on the forum are going to be the most vocal and seek the most perfect vehicles, so it is kinda hard to judge how all the other trucks are. Going by personal experience though, the last vehicle I bought (Kia Sorento) had exactly one tiny flaw, the fuel door release spring needed to be slightly bent to make sure it always opened. That was it in over 3 years of ownership. With my F150, I've had the following:
Air intake popped off (loose clamp).
Driver side & passenger side door re-aligned.
Driver leather seat cover replaced.
Rear leather seat cover + cushion replaced.

I had one missing too. Driver's side, behind the rear wheel.
I was only under there because I was putting on the Ford OEM mudflaps, which had required me to remove one of the same pinecone connectors from another area. I just shoved it in the spot where one was missing.

Its not even the price, no vehicle regardless if it is a $15k econo box or a high end truck should have stuff like missing parts, poorly aligned door panels, or any other obvious issues anymore. Obviously every maker is going to have a few hiccups here and there, but for such a obviously important launch of a totally new truck Ford seems to have had far more glitches than are acceptable.
Fanboyism has nothing to do with it, I think some of your expectations are out of line...entitlement probably. Nothing is perfect, especially at launch, and your expectation for it to be is absurd. At launch you are the test batch as they work out issues. Same with anything else, cell phones, any software launch, etc. The important thing is that Ford is taking care of the issues and from what Ive read on here and seen from most dealerships, Brittany and Ford Service in general are taking care of everyone. The sample on a forum is incredibly skewed, if you have an issue everyone runs to a forum. If you are having a great experience and no issues, some people will post about it, many many more will not. Some of the gripes are stupid too, I cant control AC from MFT so Ford sucks...blah.

1. bad rear slider control switch
2. broken bed divider
3. missing push pins
4. panic alarm goes off by itself (3 times already) without any reason at all
Its the first model year of a brand new truck especially with the aluminum, things like this are bound to happen. When you buy the first model year of a brand new, fully redesigned truck with all this new tech/ aluminum body you should know you're getting into this. Plus this forum is a select few people out of the thousands of people who have already bought one and havent had problems. And im definitely not trying to create an argument or sound like a dick to you, im just saying man.
