parts showed:
valve asy,
hose-connect
bolt
They replaced that blocking valve on the 2015 I had with the 2.7L Eco Boost when I had a CEL come on!!

P2450 - http://bestride.com/engine-trouble-codes/P2450Evaporative Emission System Switching Valve Performance/Stuck Open

- I had this code pop up on mine. Hooked up my scanner and erased it. It hasn't come back in over 500 miles. Go to Harbor Freight and buy an $80 scanner and you'll be able to read, diagnose and erase codes.

Or spend $80 on an OBDLink MX, download Forscan, and be able to do a whole lot more than just read codes

Hey tvsjr, if I buy the OBDLink MX, will I be able to find actual cause of CEL, or just another band-aid?

It will let you read the codes, but no, it's not going to say "go swap X part". If you have the full service manual, you can use the info you get along with the pinpoint diagnosis charts to figure it out. But often, the only way to find the problem is to simply have some technical know-how and start taking stuff apart.

I have the OBDLink and I have to say it's what i recommend to everyone. 3 biggest reasons. It will safely allow you to leave it plugged in at all times - yes some cheaper bluetooth ones will as well but I don't want to trust my expensive auto electronics to a 5 dollar reader off e-bay.

2) they sell software with the device is you buy from scantool.net - that is cheaper as a package if you need it. Now this isn't so much for a ford - as we hav forscan to use. I also own a GM and the enhanced diag piece with the OBDLink - also reads ABS and SRS code systems on a GM with CAN buss. It was worth everypenny and the cheapest reader I know of that will read SRS on a GM product.

3) BT module works with any mobile also and most often I use it on my GM car with Torque Pro - to monitor things. I can use the same app to monitor my F150 also.

Mine is an older one that I bought from Harbor Freight. The name brand is Altel, or something like that. I believe they're a different brand now. At any rate...Update: just had the code come back two days ago, after about 1000 miles from the last one. After reading several other posts about this, it appears to be covered under the 7/70K powertrain warranty. I wasn't aware of this and didn't bother having it fixed because my truck is leased and outside of the 3/36K mile warranty. I'm turning it in in November and didn't want to incur the cost of having to fix it. So that's good news! I'll be calling my dealer next time it appears!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love this truck, hate that flippin CEL.
Maybe the truck is rejecting the cup holders.

Scott2373, are you saying that the P0442 code is under warranty for the 7/70 powertrain and not the 3/36?
