Changed battery
But with that said, when this virus situation is over, its hook up the trailer and away we go. I do want an AGM, but I'll take it to the dealer and have it done.
I just think it's not right for folks to have to go to the dealer for something as simple as a battery replacement.

I have only owned a Ford since March 3. Love my truck, but must say, this Forum gives me the jeebies. Previous vehicle was a 05 YukonXL, hardly ever had an issue with it, the fuel system electronics were far superior and more accurate than this truck. Don't get me wrong, I chose my truck because the towing abilities for when I want with a travel trailer, and to date, I just really like it. I do most maintenance things, but the thought of such a complex battery exchange, I mean, really.

Just ran across this thread ....changed my battery back in April....dealer was expecting a AGM but my factory oem wasn't....they didn't have nether battery in stock so I bought a Costco AGM battery and put in in myself...dealer told it would be fine and actually better for the truck with all it's acc. never said anything about a reset....I never even thought about it and I've never had any problems should I be pulling out Forscan for the fist time in a yr. or so or just let it alone....I'd hate to start causing problems?
