I live in Iowa, but have been to Florida once a year for several years. I see a lot of vehicles on the beach. Doesn't ocean water do the same?
I don't ever see any rusty cars in Florida.

They might as well just use acid. The stuff is nasty.

There is some rust from driving on the beaches. Not near as bad as an entire winter of driving with salt on the roads. Causes billions of dollars in damage. I would never take my truck out in the ocean water, have been on the dry sandy beaches where allowed.

We we just had our first morning that hit below 70 degrees and 63 on the thermometer! Will be in the 50’s tomorrow! It has been hot and the cooler weather is welcome.

Ya'all crazy if you think aluminum won't corrode on us. I plan on spraying rust cop and fluid film just about everywhere as appropriate. Get plenty of corroded airplanes, and they never see an ounce of salt!

The calcium chloride spray is rough on all finishes , chrome , aluminum , metal , powder coat , my bike stays in the garage after they start spraying that crap till a couple of good rains in the spring , you can see the white dust coming off the road when it's dry.

So glad I moved to Vancouver Island 12 years ago. Our vehicles get free "fresh water washes" almost daily all winter long! I've got a 91 Cherokee that has spent its entire life on the island. It's rust free.

What's even worse is the beet juice that the state of MO adds to the brine spray. Makes it sticky in addition to corrosive.

When I was young we'd say... Chevy, body by Fisher, Ford, body by FoMoCo, and Dodge, body by Reynolds Wrap.
