I save old motorcycle oil all summer, cut it with diesel, and use a pump sprayer to cover the underside of my vehicles every Fall. A quick trip down a dirt road sets it nicely. No rust ever.

That happens to a lot of Rams. The motors are still running while the truck falls apart around them.

My first vehicle was a 3 year old 1963 Chev S/W. The hinges for the back gate were rusted out and you could do a Fred Flinstone Stop cause the floorboard was rusted through. That was in Green Bay.

It took me awhile to find pretty decent 06 around here that didn't look like so many in my area , this is an 03 with typical Iowa Ford rust area's. I've seen some really rotten 08 - 10's even , thats not to say there are some pretty rust free ones but it's difficult to sell $50K plus trucks that can start rusting through in 8 years if special care isn't taken. I here Chevy is planning to go to aluminum in 2020 also.

Looks like typical Dodge rot in my area however my 91 Dodge Ram aside from the drivers floor being rotted out is rust free , when they went to that gen 2 body style is when the Dodge bodys didn't last anymore.
