Carvana values
Sold my mustang on Carvana and bought my sons car from them. They offered several thousands more on my mustang then anywhere else. Fees were lower then anywhere else. The whole process was extremely easy. Purchased the new car and traded in the old in 10 minutes while I drank my whiskey. no surprises during drop off either. My sons car looked great and runs great. I highly recommend Carvana. I don’t work there in case you are wondering.
Carvana offer is $2500 over what I paid for my STX in 2018 new. For me, I really don't find the 2021 a must have and not really sure if the new STX will come with the features my 2018 did, so I think I'll sit tight for now. But, this could certainly work for any number of folks, if Carvana comes through in the end. Of course, there is the Bronco 2 door to consider...
Now, in fairness, I've never bought anything from them, nor have I attempted too. This is just word on the street.
I dont think id ever buy a car from them, based on how easy it was to sell them a car. It was S/Os Mercedes, the guy came to "inspect it" was here for about 3 minutes, handed me the check, and drove off with the car. Saved me from all the yahoos on CL and dealer nonsense.

My sister sold her car to them last year, and my buddy just sold his car to them.
In both cases, easy peasy process, and pricing was better than what they could get on craigslist/private sale/etc.
Our market is red-hot right now.....my 6 year old DD Accord is worth about 3k more than it was just a couple months ago.

Just to add: my buddy looked into Vroom.....they seemed SKETCH. Apparently they require you to send a spare key to them ahead of time, and sign over title/documents/etc for when they pick up, and then they are supposed to mail you the check after they pickup.
Ummmmm.....HECK NO.
Carvana on the other hand is just like going to Carmax or dealing with a private sale. You send them your info ahead of time, they schedule an appt, give your car a look-over, and they hand you a check and take your car.

I guess they only offer good buyer prices on newer vehicles. As I stated earlier...they offered me $300 over what I paid for my truck new. BUT....I entered in my info on my 2000 BMW Z3 roadster with a factory hardtop. They came back with an offer of $1255. Heck...the hardtop by itself is worth $1500 - $2000.
