For all those paranoid for giving out email address, as I am too, create a separate yahoo account for such things. I use that scrappy email for craigslist etc.

Please do.

I looked at trucks on Carvana when I was shopping, and found that they are basically the auto auction....as in the vast majority of trucks I looked at for pick up in my area were fleet vehicles from all over the country and a dealer dumping ground. Then I found out that Carvana's reviews are so high on their site because they will not let you leave a review if you did not complete the transaction, i.e. if returned the car during the trial period or didn't accept their purchase offer. Those are really the reviews you want to see. Other review sites give them like two stars mainly because people were getting cars with a zero point inspection and seriously misrepresented. Like I said...auto auction.

I'm not saying no one has ever gotten a good deal or good car, but they are not as great as they make themselves out to be.

Yahoo lets you create burner accounts within your existing email so you receive mail to it within your regular account, but if it gets spammed you can just delete it. Gmail might as well.

I just got a value for my 2018 Lariat and I didn't need to provide an email address, unless I wanted to save the quote for 7 days.

Surprisingly, the quote was for right around what I paid for it, including tax, in May of 2019. I might have to have a conversation with the wife.

Yep...I just entered my info and got an offer of $300 more than I paid for it 13 months ago. If they are legit and want to pay me that for my truck....I will drive my BMW Z3 roadster until the 2021s hit the lots .

It told me that there was something special with my quote and they would have to manually research it and email it to me.

Nothing special about mine. Bare bones Lariat. If I take off and sell all my add-ons and upgrades I could probably take the check they hand me and pay cash for a Platinum since I don't have a loan on it.

Ha! They deducted almost $14k from mine, quoting Covid as the reason.
