Ok... not sure why all my pics are gone, lol.

Here's the truck, again, hopefully...

I couldn't re-add it to the other post for some reason.

The window sticker is already posted a couple times so I wont repost that.

I didn't save the other picture I posted so that one's gone.

You will have full term warranty. 3/60 & 5/100. Warranty clock will start with its first retail/lease purchase. The in service date and meterage will begin when the when OP buys/leases it.

If you are financing with Ford you may find the .99 is better than the bigger discounts. My payment was $30 more at employee pricing event than just after it ended.
Look into a credit union. Sometimes they run a really low interest rate to get you in the door. I had a .99 from them in 09 and 10.

OP,

ive got a Lariat 2.7. Screw 4x4 short box 502a.

msrp was $64k

got it for $50k

bought it in August during employee pricing event. Best time to buy imo. 1.99% interest. But I put 35k down. There was an option for .99% but less cash incentives if I went that route and since I put so much down, I saved more by taking the 1.99%

also, just to close the deal, I got them to give me a $1200 hard tonneau cover for free.

happy to say I got $15k off when it was all said and done.

i noticed another forum member further up got $14k off msrp like me. Sounds like that’s what you should be targeting. But like him, mine was new. I would hold my ground on wanting more off or a free extended warranty. They have to give you something extra for taking the demo imo.

good luck.

I made a good deal on the truck and got the 0.99% financing.

Truck came with more than I thought and a few options that weren't listed, basically a hodgepodge of 301A, 302A and XLT Special edition.

Came with, hard roll-up tonneau, remote start, hood guard, mud flaps on top of what was listed.

I'm planning to post all the nitty gritty details soon after I go pick it up next weekend, but basically got it almost 20k under original MSRP, and about 4k under the dealer invoice price.

I had the dealer invoice price, and their numbers were right on point with what I had.

More details next weekend, but I'm super pumped!!

I'm currently in the market for a new F-150, specifically a 2018 screw XLT sport trim, short box, 2.7 eco, lightning metallic blue.

It is a "Demo" with approx 1190 km's.

Sticker MSRP is $56,799, but they have it marked down to $45,277.

With $0 down and no trade-in, I could get it for roughly $301 bi-weekly, less with a down payment (obviously).

Financing is 0.99% and I'd be looking at an 84 month term.

I need to find out when the vehicle was "put in service" as that is the day that the warranty started, even though they would be selling it as a "new" vehicle.

Depending whether or not it's been put in service, I will use that to negotiate things down a bit, say, $0.50 cents off per KM driven, and $100 off for every month of warranty lost.

Looking for some opinions and advice and opinions on this deal, and anyone with experience purchasing a demo.

I've attached the window sticker.

Thanks for looking!
When I buy mine, I always wait for employee pricing. Here in Ontario, Canada that usually starts around the late summer. My 2016 I was close to $9,500 off, with incentives and savings. FOR BRAND NEW! Good luck with the purchase friend!

Employee pricing comes at a cost of a higher interest rate.

I only put 5k down, so a lower interest rate worked out better for me than additional pricing discounts (still got some of those too!)

Nice color OP. But I wouldn't settle on 50k! I got $11k off of MSRP for a loaded truck, look again at my sticker on Post #2. You really should be able to shave off a few more grand off the price. Try another dealership?

Very smart sales tactic on their part because they know youre just about to pick up your new truck and they put the pressure on. It took me 3 weeks to cool off and post the dealerrater review because i was so pissed off with my finance guy and i wanted to post my experience with him but because my sales guy was so nice i couldnt. Im beyond certain the sales guys gets a bonus on a good review because he spent just as much time telling me how to rate the review as he spent showing me my new truck but again he was very nice from start to finish.
Yes that's why this time we were prepared when we walking into the finance office for my wife's SUV we bought last week. We sat down and before he started his spiel, I asked what kind of deal he could give us on the 3M protection package. He said $1800 for the entire front and 2 feet up the hood plus the mirrors and the edges of the doors to prevent door dings. I countered $1500 and we got it for $1650.

I then cut him off of the rest and said we're not interested in extra warranties or anything else and we're done here. He said "But I can give you a good deal on extra coverage" and I said no, we're done here. Pretty short and sweet. Signed the papers and done.

So the price online was a little deceiving, but it's my own fault for not reading the fine print, or at least not FULLY comprehending it all as I was staring and drooling at pictures of the truck, lol.

$45,277 is the "cash purchase" price, the finance price was $47,277.

As I said the truck had a few extra's that weren't listed like remote start, flaps, hood guard, tonneau, that were going to be "extra's".

I said I wanted the truck as it sits, and I want the warranty back, and I want it for the internet price, and I don't want to pay any financing/paperwork/PDI blah blah charges.

There was also a promotion for $1000 in accessories, or I could get a $750 credit.

I took the credit because there are no accessories that I would need that it doesn't already have (maybe the bed lighting, but that's about it), got the warranty back plus another $750 credit.

We agreed on $46,XXX (dont have the exact # with me) including all the additional accessories, some credit's, and no additional fees.

The price I wanted was $45k on the nose, so it was pretty close.

When I built the truck on Ford's website, it was pretty damn close to $60k

The only "iffy" add-on I agreed to was the 3 year rim and tire protection for $399.

I honestly didn't know enough about it to know whether it was worth it or not, but knowing the price of just those Hankook's, I figured F#!@ it, for 400 bucks to have the rims and tires covered doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Can't say that I got the absolute best bare bones price possible, but I found the exact truck I want, at a price within my budget, at a finance rate I couldn't refuse, with some additional extra's I wasn't expecting, so all in all I'm happy.

Looking forward to joining the truck scene, and learning a bunch from the community.
