OzTuning has IMRC harness adapters. Will require tuning whether you use those or delete them. Purge valve gets mounted on a short length of hose as the 18+ uses different connections up front. PCV valve tube needs tweaked or replaced with flexible hose, much easier if you have a catch can.

Pardon my ignorance but what happens with a failing manifold? Oil consumption?

Harnesses

Tuning device and tune

Some people might recommend other tuners to go through and even I use somebody else currently. However I do recommend Oz in this instance because Ken Osborne does what I’ll call factory custom tuning. It’s not a wild race tune with retarded knock sensors or aggressive shifting. It behaves like factory or like factory should. More engine power and where factory the transmission might stutter or shift weird he has cleaned that up. He also retains the factory flex fuel logic so there’s no running 1 fuel and 1 fuel only. You can run e85 or 87 or 91 or e15/88 or 93. Whatever pump gasoline you can find, you can run. It really is a solid product he has. Only reason to go through others IMO is if you’re trying to push it harder NA. Add boost, return to Oz lol

This is awesome exactly what I was looking for!! Oz even has a stage 2 kit that supplies you with everything necessary for the mods!

Perfect! Stage 2 tune kit

Default Tuning and emissions testing

Do y’all have state emissions testing where you live? If so, how does installing a tune effect that? From my understanding, here in Texas when the state emissions system is plugged into the OBD2 port it can see if tunes are in the vehicle’s computer and this is cause for emissions testing failure. Please correct me if I’m wrong and you know for certain a tune even like the Oz tune you’re describing will not cause an emissions test failure.
