Default Build date to delivery?

How long did it take you guys to get your truck after it's build date?
Mine was built on 04/07 and the dealership is telling me today is when it's supposed to be here.

How long did it take you guys to get your truck?
The dealership is almost 2 hours away and I'm trying to plan my day....
annnnnnnnnnnnd I have a lift and some 37"s burning a hole in my shop floor! lol

Is there a way you can see the exact location of your truck? Like a UPS tracking number or something?

Plug your info into this website and it should at least give you some info. You can't track the truck like UPS on this site. But it should give you some idea of the stage you're at.

I know there is a way to get rail car info and the like. I have refrained from doing so...Just don't want to get all caught up in waiting. It will get here soon enough. My delivery date was saturday on the website I gave you. But still showed "in transit". Now today I don't even see my trucks info...says not found. I would guess there is some system maintenance going on. My build date was the 9th or 10th. I ordered on 3/1 and showed the order as ordered on 3/4. Stayed in order processing for a month!!

Hopefully this helps you some.

Glen

Unfortunately I don't think so. Depending on which plant it was built at, and how they are shipping them (train, truck, driver, etc) it'll effect when it comes in.

Check this link and while you at it enter your info. You will see that the times are all over the board. A lot depends on where you are, what you ordered, build plant ect.

I noticed most of those have FFA in them but few are FFB which mine is. Anyone know what sequence difference is? Maybe job 2?

Texrep, did you put this together? Nice job if so, or whomever did it. Anyway, I find mine missing. Feel free to add mine. I just posted mine on the VIN# build date thread. The VIN number is readable on my last post.

On another note, glad to see you are enjoying your new truck.

My Lariat was built on 04/21, and arrived at the dealership this morning.

I pick it up tomorrow at 5.

Ordered March 25th and I will take delivery tomorrow.

33 days.

For the record, its got the big tank and factory spray in liner.

Found this for 2015 Ford models:

http://www.fleet.ford.com/resources/...%20Guide_2.pdf

Basically, it's an identifier number. It will rotate to C when they make the next ~100k vehicles at DTP.
