So driving down the street at 35mph the truck dies. I coast to a safe stop. Try to restart and it doesn’t. Learning from last time I give it a few minutes try a few more time and it starts. Check engine light is on.

I drove it it to the dealer and left it. They can’t look at it until next week.

Anyone experience this starting and dying issue? I cannot have a unreliable vehicle. I owe like 20k on it, have plenty of equity but bought before I had two kids. If I dump it, I won’t buy another King Ranch....help!!!

Damn Pakingranch13... Is Ford giving you a car to drive while they "get around" to looking at yours?

My F150 has done well in the starting department.. but the Cadillac SRX I traded in on it has several random starting issues.. it was always either the battery, or timing chain in it's case.

Next time make sure to record a few videos on your phone showing it messed up, that way you can at least show them it's f'd up and they can't just say "well it worked when we got it".

No rental right now, I have the platinum ESP, but not first day Rental. 10 days max. Really frustrated with this truck. 2015 with 36500. I put 6k miles in the last 12 months.

Anyone experienced not starting then stalling while driving? I’d really like to have some idea before the ford dealer tells me if they found anything!

I completely get where you're at with your truck. My truck has been great, but my wife's 15 Passat has been a nightmare riddled with problems. Can be very frustrating when you are driving a brand new vehicle that you dont trust to take you & your family from point A to point B.

My wife's Explorer would do the same thing and after the 3rd time of being stranded it was gone. Fuel pump issues when it happens get it fixed and say bye bye no matter which make or model it happens too. Or carry a rubber mallet and find the sweet spot on the tank to tap. Wife was real proud of me when presented with a rubber mallet and told to tap the big red X on the tank when it stalls. She had other intentions for the mallet and tapping the tank was not on of them. Best of luck and have speed dial for the tow service is the best recommendation.
