I stopped by the local dealer (not where I bought) on the way home from work today to ask about the box link install. They service department took of the brackets to install it. Took them about 5 minutes. They said they do this alot.

Good new was they local dealer was very helpful today. I have heard many complaints about them and was hesitant to use them for anything but I will go to them again for service or warranty issues.

They do fit snug. A buddy just got his 17 and couldn't get them on. I did it in less than 4 minutes after figuring out he was trying to install them upside down and locked. Easy to do if you don't pay attention.

Removing them, I tap the bottom upward with hammer. Also bought e-rail D ring and strap mounts. Work great in the mounts.

Yes, taking off the brackets is the simple solution. The two front cleats were still tight to push on so I used a standard size rubber mallet to get them on all the way to lock. Then simply reinstalled the brackets. Did two in about ten minutes.
