Boost gauge
Hi everyone,
I have a 2018 xlt with 3.5 ecoboost. I'm running 5star 88 octane tune. I'd like to get a boost gauge and wondering what my options are.
I'd like to keep the budget minimal, but don't want to throw something in that will be ugly and look out of place.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks all!

You can add an 8" cluster from Livinitup. That'll give you boost (and more)

You could go with an OBDII scanner paired with your smart phone and phone holder. Kind of a weird solution if you only want a dedicated boost gauge, but the scanner opens the door for FORscan and full scanner capabilities. Oh yea, does boost gauge too.
I like the 8" cluster, but isn't it hard/expensive to get the cluster replaced? I remember I almost needed a new cluster on my Jeep Renegade (worst purchase in my life) and it would have been thousands. I remember something about them having to code in the odometer.
I also like the old school gauge too, what would the install of that entail? How could I make it look nice and pretty?

These do look pretty clean! I like how the multi-gauge one plugs right into the OBD2 port. But, how does it read boost from OBD2? Wouldn't my SCT BDX tuner be able to read boost from this? I tried it, and couldn't find boost anywhere.

I believe they have an add-on to the kit that taps into the IC piping and routes to the gauge

It is extremely easy to replace, takes about 10 minutes. As for cost that varies depending on year and options you want, but I think you are looking at about $650 if you purchase the cluster and programming from Clusters by Livnitup. You may be able to source one from a local salvage yard and send to him for programming, this is what I did. I upgraded mine and love it.
