Default Gauge cluster swap

Has anyone tried swapping a regular plain instrument cluster to the upgraded one yet? Long story short my company orders our trucks and dealer didn't select some of the correct options on my xlt so I ended up without the large productivity screen in the cluster. Mine was the first 2015 we ordered so it's been corrected. I know on the older trucks they were plug and play with only some options not working.

Did not know you could get the 8" productivity screen in the cluster on an XLT. What package/combination do you order? Special for fleet vehicles maybe?

I was like you guys, didn't know you could get the 8" productivity screen on the XLT. So went back through the building process and sure enough, its under the SYNC with MyFord Touch. Also, I do not see any special print saying like not available for XLT or anything.

As for the original question, sorry I do not know.

James98520 is referring to the caption for the included items of the MyTouch option that says 8" productivity screen, but I believe that is an error, from what I have read previously on this forum.

Perhaps the OP could clarify, going from what to what?

The base model XLT actually has a tiny 2" monochromatic display. As you step up (not sure on the config), you get the 4" multi-color display. If you can actually get the 8" has been debated as well. I believe there is evidence of one fleet order XLT with it. My XLT w/302A, and MFT/Nav does NOT have the 8".

What was corrected? Does that mean the 8" Prod Screen will fit into the XLT cluster? Only question is if it is PnP?

If it is an error, you'd think they would have corrected it as many times as they've updated the website. But you're correct, I was referring to what was listed as included.

If I'm understanding you properly, I think it comes as part of the 302A package (Not sure on other configurations).
