Default Bluetooth Connection Issues

Hey everyone,

I connected my phone to the trucks blue tooth system, but only left side speakers work. Does anyone have a solution for this.

Thank you all.

What year F150, what SYNC system? What version of software? What phone? Did you check the balance of the output of the phone?

The first thing you need to do is upgrade the SYNC software to the latest version.

What are your slider/fader positions? When the radio is playing, is sound only on the left speakers? Even is the sound is right, go into speaker setup menu and check where they are set.

There's a "occupancy mode" or something like that in the audio settings that can optimize the sound for if the driver is in the only one in the truck. Don't know what effect if any there is when using a phone if that is set for driver only but one thing to check.

I BT my phone in my truck and use it extensively but honestly don't think it is supposed to be in stereo. Mine seems to come from under the steering wheel. Wouldn't stereo create horrible feedback?

I just updated the truck's SYNC. It is now SYNC 3 Version SYNC3 v3.0.20204, but the problem still continues. The audio settings on the truck as balanced as well as the settings on my phone.
