Default Bilstein 5100 HDPP

Any concern installing rear Bilstein 5100 on my F150 with HDPP?

No, I installed them on mine front & back, no issues. Payload 2929 lbs.

No issues with regard to the HDPP. The shocks on the truck have no bearing on the payload. Theoretically, the Bilsteins might not be 'rated' for the payloads that an HDPP might have, and if you loaded your truck to the absolute max it could be overloaded per Bilstein's spec, but I highly highly doubt this would have any effect on the Bilsteins.

I've wondered the same thing. My 2017 2WD HDPP F150 sits a lot higher than any other 15-17 2WD F150 I've seen. It seems like there might not be enough travel if I put the 2WD 5100 shocks on it. I don't know if the 4WD HDPP trucks sit here than non-HDPP trucks either.

The fronts are set at the highest setting. I also installed an add-a-leaf in the rear and replaced the 1.25" block with a 2" block. It rides better empty now, especially over washboard type bumps. Haven't loaded it up yet.

I talk to bilstein canada costumer service and they told me to go with the 5100. I ask them isn't the 4600 the heavy duty ones and they told me the 5100 is a better shock
