Best Battery?
Hey guys, my truck battery died today (and is currently dead in the garage) so it's looking like I need a new battery. Going to jump start it tomorrow and head to get a new one... any recommendations on what to get? Currently running the OEM battery on my 2016 3.5 eco.

My Costco sells Interstate batteries. They have a 36 month warrantee and Costco does not have the ability to test the battery so mine gets returned every 32 months for a free replacement. They sell deep cycle marine batteries as well so I do the same with my boat.
Have not purchased a new battery in years. Only hassle is that my Costco stopped selling batteries so i have to go to the one on the other side of town.

Don't get an Optimum. Since they moved most of the manufacturing to Mexico they do not last long, especially for the price.
I still have my OE battery and it started my truck this morning at -28°C [-18°F], but when it is done, I'll probably replace it with a Group 94R Flooded Cell (OE size) Kirkland from Costco.
For me, I don't see any advantage of going to an AGM.

I recommend you get your battery load tested. Many are driving less during the pandemic and needlessly replacing batteries that aren't being adequately charged by their vehicles. It takes at least 30 minutes of continuous driving to charge a battery. Many simply need a Battery Tender/ https://www.f150forum.com/f118/2020-...attery-486997/
If you do need a new battery, Walmart has a very good warranty. EverStart Maxx.

I really like advance auto parts agm batteries. They come with a 3 year full replacement warranty. On my car, haven't had my F150 long enough, I usually get 2 batteries for every 1 purchase. I've gone through 3 or 4 batteries. I've had my car for almost 10 years. I do have a 1000w amp and 2 10's in the trunk, plus south east Texas heat.

It's weird.. I drove for 45min-1hr this morning going highway speeds (65+) and it sat for 2-3hrs this afternoon. I sat in the truck for ~15min (key turned ON but ignition off) setting up a dash cam I bought and got a low battery warning on my LCD screen in the cab. I tried to turn the truck on once I saw the warning and it would not turn over (assuming dead battery).
12.4V-12.5V seems to alleviate low battery warning. 12.0V set mine off.

Fully charge your battery. Then get it load tested.
