Insurance i have wont cover it, thats out the option list to keep it short.
That sucks massive cahonas. This is why I always tell my self that if some ******* is about to cause an accident and hit me to only apply the brakes and take no other evasive action. That way the a*hole loses his car/truck to and hopefully can't drive away unscathed. It also reduces the possibility of a rollover or some other craziness that could get me and the family killed. Same idea as with deer and other large animals. Brake as hard as you can but don't veer off.

Man tell me about it. And it all happened so fast but it was more of a stand on brakes, let off, turn. stand on brakes, let off, turn situation. U know? But yes it could have been handled differently I guess trust me I replayed in my mind a bunch of times

Sorry to diverge, but why won't insurance cover it? I've always thought something like this would be covered with full coverage (maybe you don't have it?), but now I'm a little worried.

What insurance do you have? Asking so I know NEVER to get them for anything.

Also the fact that after hitting 4 parking lot curbs at speed only did that damage says a lot about Ford's suspension and steering components. I would think control arms, bushings and linkages etc. would've broken off.

There could be a number of reasons why. For example, A lot of states have different rules for accidents if they happen on private property and no injury's are involved. It becomes a matter for property or home owners insurance. The local mall, Kroger or your friends home or apartment complex are all private property. The police will do an accident report but no moving violations are involved. Also, some states require an accident report to be made for any claims. If the OP is in one of those states and he didn't file an accident report he's SOL. You have to know the laws of the state you're in and the number of people that don't is amazing. I've heard a lot of cops say they're told, "I use to live in . . . and . . . ." and where you use to live is irrelevant.

River: thats a lot of Ifs buddy. And 3 to 4 curbs was inaccurate. Really it was a parking lot with Elaine that goes around it, and that lane happens to have a curb on each side. So at the time it felt like three to four because it was hit at an angle. Due to the Lane and being a big circle around the lot.

I would just let the A-arm bend it if it need to move. In that spot it has lots of torque and it looks like it can move now. That is if you are not going to replace those parts. If leaving it, I would look at
welding that crack too. even if just in 1/4 inch intervals so the rubber mount doesn't burn. Also need to have the alignment checked before all of this. Many other
things may be bent and it won't be able to be aligned properly.

Just bad news all the way around. Good luck.
