Default Bedliners

I'll be getting a new F150 in a few days and was wondering what people have been putting in for berliners. I was thinking weather tech - not too expensive and semi protects the sides but they don't have one for a 6' 6" bed yet - they said they are making the molds now but it will take 8 to 10 weeks before they are in production. I don't know if i want to wait that long. my second choice is the full bedbug that complexly covers the whole inside of the box. A little on the expensive side but I like that it is soft and flexible.

I went with the Ford spray in. Thought $400 was reasonable.

Joining this thread because I'm in a similar boat. I'm currently leaning toward a full Bedrug + Extang Encore Tonneau because I think I'll be using the bed more for carrying valuables than messy items. Thinking a tarp can help the messy items' cleanup when necessary.

It is all a matter of personal preference of course. You can carry firewood on a bedrug and you can put a snowboard on spray-in bedliner. But, are you hauling stuff to the mountain or the woods more?

Same here...

Thought that was a great price and it was nice to have it factory installed.
Plus, I like the Ford logo on it.

Ditto. And didn't have to take it somewhere and leave it for a day get transportation to and from.

This is what I went with as well. Easiest option (no time/effort installing/waiting) and the price was right. Ford logo is done well.

Had a drop in liner on my '04 but I didn't like how things slid around all the time. Bed mats don't give enough coverage for me, and I know bed rugs are designed to get wet, but I just don't like the idea of a wet rug in the bed of my truck when it rains.

Still waiting to pull the trigger on my truck, but I think what I'll be doing is the factory spray-in liner and then maybe add a Bedrug mat and tailgate mat. That combo seems to give some good versatility to me. It really depends on what you'll be using the bed for... If I was carrying gravel daily, I doubt I'd go Bedrug, but if I was going to put a cap on it I'd almost definitely want one.

You guys do know we have two guys in the vendor section that sell Bedrugs at a pretty good discount. I just got mine for $322 delivered. But I think I would only use a bed rug if under a Or a cover

I'm getting the Truxedo Tonneau directly from Ford - not too much more than what I can get it on line and its installed. That will keep the Bedrug dry plus water just runs off it as it isn't really a rug anyway. The most i haul with my truck is a couple tons of wood pellets twice a year and I can throw some 2x4s in for the pallets t rest on plus the rug will be easier on my aging knees.

I went with the spray in from my dealership and added a Ford rubber mat as well.
