My wife and I travel a lot and need a way to transport gear in a waterproof, dust-proof manner in the bed of our 16 SCREW Lariat. Two Pelican 1630NF cases fit perfectly side by side with about half the bed length remaining for other stuff. I plan to cable/lock the cases to the bed's tie down cleats and padlock the cases. These will be used for extended trips then removed. Got these on Amazon without foam packing (the "NF" in Pelican's model number means "No Foam"). Also in the photo: Extang Trifecta tonneau, BedRug mat/tailgate liner, Ford OEM tailgate extender (folded/stowed against bed walls). Bed storage solution-image-411019606.jpg

Looks great! Pelican cases are where its at! That to me is a better solution than a toolbox because its easily removable and can be used for other purposes. Hell, you could take it in the hotel room with you while you are traveling if you want.

Thanks for sharing!

They are pricey ($225 each through Amazon). But I needed something that sealed completely as we are on dirt roads quite a bit. They'll last a lifetime.

these ? on the left?
Storage boxes that mount to the rail I think. I like the floor mounted one that rolls out and you can lock it place.

Ford's bed extender, in the stowed position. Great accessory.
