Default Bed steps

I've seen the amp research bed step the tucks up under the bumper and thought that was a nice easy to use design. Are there any other designs that can be considered. Any experience with the amp steps? Just looking for some input

I just installed an Amp step. Easy to install. I love it. Worth the $209.00 to me.

Any interest in a factory set for a 5.5ft bed that I pulled off my truck when new? I think they retail for around $600

Sorry I got too excited and just read you are looking for rear bumper step not side steps. Sorry!

I have the AMP Research BedStep, and couldn't be happier.

AMP Research BedStep

I do admit I've driven away with it deployed (twice). It's still plenty high it won't ground out.

I have the 2015 XLT and came with the side steps, the ones that are near the rear wheel... they are nice. I don't know if it's because my truck is 1 day old, but they are a bit tricky to push back. Need a good amount of force. They come out easily and are a nice feature. I believe I have them on both sides of my truck. Really like that.

Default Bumper was also looking at AMP

Wish Ford would have design a bumper like GMC/Chevy Truck. at times i do not need to use the Stripper pole.

Not me I hate the chebby/gmc notch bumper. Why not cut a step into the side of the bed, Imo it's would be just as bad. Don't get me started on Chevy/gmc trucks.

I don't care much for Chevy but if there is one thing they got right it's the step in the bumper. Completely out of the way. Won't pack with mud or snow. No moving parts. Those are all selling points for me.

We have the amp on our 250. It work very well. The only complaint is that without mud flaps it's covered with mud in the spring summer fall and snow in the winter.
