Was thinking my next might be that way too. Especially with the Al bed.

I saw a promotional photo of a gooseneck hooked up to a 2015. Can't recall if it was a video or brochure. So it can be done.

Good option...thanks. Although I like my sides to remain open due to always having the need to install clamps, bracing or straps, the Bedbug Mat looks like it deserves some serious consideration.

Think you would be better off with the Al Alloy bed if cutting into it.

The steel sheet metal is galvanized to protect it against rust. As soon as you cut into, the rust starts. A real problem up here in winter salt country. I would never cut into a steel body.

But don't think the Al has such a coating other than the paint? hmmm, dunno really. Something to look into ...

Thanks. I have an 04 f150 and have had no problem with rust so i suppose the new bed will be at least that good....was wondering about cutting it in. Likei said that is a must for me...it will match my alum trailer!

I'm getting the factory spray-in bedliner. I also called Weather-Tech and their TechLiner, which is pretty much like a cargo liner/mat for the back of an SUV, will be available for the F-150 sometime late February. I plan on throwing one of those in just to protect the bed even more. Way easier to hose and rinse that off instead of the whole bed.
