I did too. I had it on my 2009 SCREW, and removed it before I traded the truck for my new (to me) 2015 SCAB. It took some doing to remove the no drill brackets off the old truck, but I couldn't get a new set at the time.

 

The OEM collapsible extender is the best. Very convenient having the option to tuck it behind and flush with the wheel wells to give majority of bed space when needed.
