Wanting to see if anyone has used this remote start kit? claims to be plug and play with stock remotes, just press lock 3 times.

I'd be skeptical because the on screen menus don't match what I have at least for menus (or the menu design).

 

Im not sure why the menus are even there in the pictures, but definitely doest match

 

I was looking into the one from this thread. Seems to work just fine with the keyfob and the seller has good reviews from ebay and in the thread someone confirmed it works too.

Great find! I remember seeing the post in search but didn't dig into it with the OEM in the title.

 

Seems eBay is starting to populate with kits, as they're rebundled/preprogrammed iDatalink kits with PnP harnesses.

I got my kit from this seller, been using it for months with no issues. Takes literally 10 minutes to install.

 

Seems like a great deal compared to OEM. 100+ bucks cheaper than sourcing parts and quicker install. Can't beat that.

I got this delivered today and just installed it. Here is a picture of the ad and settings it unlocked. Only strange thing is once it is, remote started, if you put the key in, turn it to run, and shut it off without ever putting it in gear, it will start back up again automatically. If you put it in gear while running or use the remote to shut it off the truck stays off. Not sure if this is normal.

 

Have you checked with any of their tech support to see if that is common or a bug? I'm not sure how many times that would even affect me though really.

 

I installed one on my 2016. Purchased it from car-starters-ct on eBay. ( imper_jo }. Plug and play everything can be set on dash under remote start just like factory. All my questions were answered and has a warranty. Best bang for my money.
